During the first quarter of 2009 there was internet connection in 62% of Slovak households. As follows from a Eurostat report “Internet Access and Use in 2009,” in comparison the average in European Union countries was 65% of households. In the last two years households with internet access have increased by 16 percentage points, which against the EU’s 27 countries signifies more dynamic growth.
