Loyalty cards are used to persuade customers to stop shopping in different stores or using the services of varying companies and bind them to only one. This, in spite of higher prices and longer trips to the shop. And the cards are not only used to make the customer prefer one brand to another, but to make them spend more than before. These are the “promises” which businessmen in Slovakia have already come up with, and which others are planning to. But one thing is for a loyalty club to gain a member and it’s another to motivate him to remember his loyalty card when he’s shopping. Especially when it’s probable members will have more and more loyalty cards in wallets. I Pg. 48
